Box and Pan Brakes

Mittler Bros. manufactures pan brakes, shear brakes, siding brakes and other sheet metal fabrication brakes in Missouri, just west of St. Louis. All of our products are American-made and manufactured. Our box and pan brakes include:

Our unique, movable, three-finger design allows for complex bends and curves nearly impossible with previous, standard machine shop equipment. Our pan brakes include standard sets of fingers, an apron stop, a counterweight, wrenchless upper setback adjustment, and the features you need and expect for curving and bending sheet metal.

Additionally, our radius fingers allow metal forming for aircraft and racecar panels using 3003 to 2024 T3 aluminum, .062” mild steels and .0375” stainless steel. Pan brakes feature 3-½” depth of box, 2” down leg, 1” front to rear adjustment capabilities and ¼” reverse bending.
